[NOTHING TO DO WITH BLOG, BUT ENJOY THE PICTURES] Bildeserie

Vis hensyn!

3rd act, Sword Art Online cont. and League of Legends
Yes, I know this is late, but I completely forgot about it on Saturday, so you just have to forgive me.
Without further ado; today's Anime and Game will be an update for Sword Art Online, and the Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) game League of Legends.
As you know, my first post was about Sword Art Online and I said I would give you an update on it after I had gotten to watch a few more episodes. That day has now come, and I now give you my final judgement for Sword Art Online.
Sword Art Online has developed far beyond my comprehension. I cannot describe how absolutely awesome this show is. The animation is still as amazing and sharp as it was the first time !SPOILER AFTER THIS SPOILER ALERT BANNER! DO NOT READ IF YOU DO NOT WANT ANY SPOILERS!
There is finally something hinting towards a romance between Kirito and Asuna, the show's main characters, and the story is getting more and more dramatic as they are moving to higher leveled floors (which means basically that there's a higher risk of dying). All in all, this show has blown my mind, and I haven't loved a series this much since Soul Eater (which I will present in a later post). All in all, this show has completely captured my heart, and I will definitely watch it through as more episodes are released.
New ranking: 10/10 NO DOUBT!
League of Legends
This section will be about a game that I've played for a couple of months (still playing), and it is a very entertaining game. Sometimes, playing alone can get a bit boring, so I tend to play with my brother or my girlfriend. League of Legends is for some reason often compared to World of Warcraft by haters, and I can't say I understand why. In any case, the game's concept was very new to me, and it was a little hard getting used to it, but as soon as I got accustomed to the system, it was a lot of fun. Basically, you play as a champion who is summoned by a... summoner (yeah, had it coming), and the point is to destroy the enemy nexus to win. The champions have 4 abilities keybound by default to Q, W, E, R. The abilities have 5 ranks, and you upgrade them as you level. Maximum level is 18, and by then your Q, W, and E will have 5 ranks, while your R (aka Ultimate, kinda your strongest ability) will have 3 ranks. All the champions are highly diverse, and new champions are added all the time. This makes the game a lot of fun, and almost endless, as you haven't played the game until you've at least tried out every champion, found your favourites, played ranked games etc. Essentially, it is a lot of fun, and I really enjoy it (so much that I've spent well over 200 pounds on the game >_<) In any case, I highly recommend the game, so go and give it a shot, just google LoL and you'll get their website =D Ah, and as always, Spin to win kids, spin to win!
I'll see you next time

Tre grader frihet
Right, this was just an attempt, and I'd just want to make one thing clear, I can't do journalism, I can't write objectively. So all in all, this is merely a draft, or an attempt at journalism. I did pledge to myself in primary school that I would never EVER become a journalist, but hey, when you take media, you have to go through some "less fun" parts. In any case, that's it for me. There's no proper ending to this, as I have no clue how to conclude it.
Well, I've got some nice new stuff for Saturday, so stay tuned =] I'll see you around.

[DISCLAIMER] This has nothing to do with my blog
Well, as the title says, this has nothing to do with my blog, but as I said, I will have to occasionally post things that my teacher wants me to post. This is one of them. We've been working on animation today, and thus we went to the internetz and made it on a site named GoAnimate.com
Well, here's the result, and yeah, I know it is absolute crap, geeky and just plain lame, but I couldn't really get it going in my head, so I cut it short :P Anyways, here you go
GoAnimate video
Also, I'm going away for the weekend, so no post on Saturday :(
I'll see you later =]

Round Two! Skyrim and Anohana, Fire and Tears
Hey guys, I'm back with another post, and today's post will be about the (I know, it's kinda old) game "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim", and about a new series I've watched called Anohana.
First, some music. What do you think this will be? ;)
Skyrim
So, first off, Skyrim! I've owned this game since it's release, but as you know, I didn't have a blog until recently, so I haven't really reviewed it a lot. It is also my first Elder Scrolls game, so I don't have anything to compare it to.

Skyrim
So, first off, Skyrim! I've owned this game since it's release, but as you know, I didn't have a blog until recently, so I haven't really reviewed it a lot. It is also my first Elder Scrolls game, so I don't have anything to compare it to.
This game was the kind of game which blew my mind by it's sheer volume. I was stunned by Skyrim's size and all the exploring you could do. Myself, as a human/animal crossover lover, I first made a Khajiit dual-wield warrior, but it didn't turn out all that good. I tried again with a two-hand warrior, still Khajiit, but my brother accidentally deleted it when I let him try playing (Brothers...)
Eventually, I tried going Argonian, and a Mage this time, and that was a lot of fun. The glorious destruction I could cause as a mage was really satisfying, and when I got Conjuration magic in addition to my Destruction, I felt as if my life (which means my character) was complete. Skyrim's storyline was surprisingly short, and I was a bit disappointed by how little effort was put into it. But I soon saw that Bethesda had made up for it with all the side quests, exploring, and faction-action, as I like to call it (joining a faction, fighting for their cause, etc.)
The ragdolls can get kinda weird sometimes, and you can launch dead dragons off cliffs by shooting a fireball at them (which sometimes causes bugs and glitches), and lastly, the game is kinda glitchy all in all. Even though it might be glitchy, and exploits can be found anywhere, it is still a game I enjoyed playing, and when number 6 comes out (we all know there will be a 6th one) I will most likely buy it =]
The game experience was different to what I've done before, which was a nice breath of fresh air to me, and it left me with memories of striding across the fields and mountains of Skyrim. The shout magic was also a cool new mechanic, even though it was basically like a spell, but hey, who doesn't want to summon a dragon to slaughter an enemy camp, or call down a lightning storm, or, or... How about breathing FIRE!
All in all, I will give the game a 7/10, the missing three are mainly due to a short storyline and glitchiness.
Anohana
Anohana is a drama/slight romance/comedy anime made up of 11 episodes. It's not heavy on drama, nor romance or comedy, it's a little of each.
The story revolves around the main character Yadomi (the guy in the red shirt and black hair), Aka Jintan, and how he starts believing his dead childhood friend Menma (little girl with white hair) has come back from the dead to stay with him. He believes she is the "Beast of summer", and just a figment of his imagination, but he can't let her go, as he's loved her ever since they were kids. He is a drop-out from school, and he spends the day at home doing the boredom-cycle (I made that word up) "eat-game-sleep-repeat". Menma becomes more and more alive to Yadomi, and he decides to do something about it. Menma tells him he needs to fulfil her wish before she can pass on the the afterlife, and that is the trigger for the future events occurring throughout the show.
I felt like that summary was kinda crap, so here's one from Wikipedia xD
A group of six childhood friends drift apart after one of them, Meiko
"Menma" Honma, dies in an accident. Ten years after the incident, the
leader of the group, Jinta Yadomi, has withdrawn from society and lives
as a recluse. One summer day, the ghost of an older looking Menma
appears before him and asks to have a wish granted, reasoning that she
cannot pass on into the afterlife until it is fulfilled. Since Menma
does not remember what her wish is, Jinta gathers his estranged friends
together once again, believing that they are the key to resolving this
problem. However, hidden feelings, internal conflicts, and lingering
feelings of bitterness from Menma's parents result in complications for
the group as they struggle to help not only Menma move on, but
themselves as well.
I found the show to be a little boring at the start, but the animation was good, and I felt there was potential in the show, I just had to keep on watching... Alright, the truth is that my girlfriend recommended it, and I didn't want to let her down, so I kept on watching it for her sake. Anyways, I finished watching it, and I was not disappointed at all. The ending is maybe the most moving scene in any anime I have ever seen. I cried more than I have ever in months (last time was in April, damn that was a sad day), and I couldn't have thought of a better ending myself. Truly a wonderful anime, and if you ever feel like crying a bit, or just see a really sweet and adorable anime, watch Anohana.
This anime get's a well-deserved 9/10, the only minus being that the start was a tad slow, but it's not too much of an issue. Thank you Sophie, for making me watch such a great show <3
Right, that would be all from me for this time, I hope you'll tune in for the next post. And by the way, from now on, I will make a new post every Saturday. So I'll see you next time =]

First Round! Dark Souls & Sword Art Online!
Hello again, so soon after I left last time ;) Well, in any case, I give you;
Dark Souls *Insert scary, eerie music here*
&
Sword Art Online *Insert inspirational, orchestral music here*
I will just go right ahead and talk about the first thing on my schedule; Dark Souls
For those who haven't heard of it might believe that Dark Souls is an anime, and Sword Art Online is the game, but it's actually the other way around.
Dark Souls
Dark Souls is a game developed and published by the Japanese game company From Software (kind of an odd name). It is the "spiritual successor" of Demon's Souls. My brother turned 14 on the 13th of August, and I gave him Dark Souls as a present (Yes, see though my evil, processed scheme to let myself get the game, with the excuse that I am giving it to my brother *Insert evil laugh*). When I finally got a go at it, I was astounded by the difficulty you faced from the start. The controls were kinda tricky to get used to at first, and the lock-in system as well, as I tended to forget about it. The first mini-boss was a real surprise, and I was not expecting how powerful he was, nor how suddenly he would appear. I'll be honest, I died a lot before I got him down, but it was a lot of fun. The difficulty level was quite high for a new player, but it was the kind of difficulty which didn't make me ragequit (even though that doesn't really happen often, to be honest). The difficulty level was just enough to let you see the end of the tunnel, the little slit in the door you could slide through and just get down the enemy. In my eyes, the difficulty level was perfectly adjusted. Movement can be a bit sticky sometimes, and dodging can get mixed up with your manouvers, but this is all about practice. The monsters are innovative, a little like Final Fantasy, and the world looks beautiful, just like Skyrim. The combat is neat, but there is a lot of switching between your skills of you're a mage or a pyromancer (my favorite; btw, I really, really love the element fire). Anyways, I don't really know what game to compare it with, as it's got a bit of many. It is like a combination of Dragon Age, Skyrim and Final Fantasy. The graphics are amazing, and the storyline is promising. I will give you an update after I have played a bit more. My ranking of it so far would be *drumroll*
7.5/10
Why? The game is great, but I need to play it a little more to know for sure, but the promise is there. Graphics, great. Storyline, promising. Combat, alright. Movement, a bit sticky sometimes, and Magic, kick-ass! If you liked Dragon Age, Skyrim and/or Final Fantasy, this is a game you should pick up. Stay tuned!
Sword Art Online
Sword art online is an anime I just started watching, and so far, it kicks so fricking much ass. The animation is aboslutely exquisite, the storyline carries a hidden message about the future of gaming, and all gamers can relate to the hero. I will give you a quick summary of it.
It's the year 2022, and gaming has reached a new level with the new Virtual Reality MMORPG game Sword Art Online. The hero, Kirito, finds himself trapped in the game with over 100000 other players. The reason why? Because the creator of the game has decided that after you have entered the game with the NerveGear, the VR machines, you won't be able to leave the game again, and if you die in-game, you die in real life as well. You can only get free if you complete the game by reaching the 100th dungeon floor. Kirito analyzes his predicament and decides to do something about it. Now what will he do...? To be continued...
In any case, the series looks amazing, and even only one episode got me hooked. I am definitely watching it through. Sadly, there are only 7 episodes out so far, but it is still ongoing, so there are more episodes to come (yay). This series is a must-see for all fantasy/sci-fi anime geeks ;) A very good anime so far. As with Dark Souls, I will give you an update later on.
Sword Art Online receives a solid 9/10, simply because I love it so much from the first episode >:D
I hope you enjoyed this review, and that you will look forward to the future content.
I will see you around.
